About the Playwright
Barry M .Putt, Jr. is a playwright and audio dramatist. His plays have been performed in Canada, France, the UAE, and throughout the U.S. Next Stage Press also publishes his play entitled Inside Out. Barry’s work as an audio dramatist includes scripting more than 50 adaptations and original productions such as Statusquovia, Beauty and the Beast, and the western series Richard Wade, U.S. Marshal. He has appeared on programs across the country discussing the craft of writing and moderated panel discussions on audio drama at the national Dramatists Guild conference. The play is less about Iran than about the violence members of the LGBTQ community suffer, or are threatened with, here in the United States and abroad.
