HOW TO KILL A RODENT

by Eleanor McCaughey

The show follows Canadians Guy and Carrie on a road trip to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania only days before Groundhog Day. In an effort to commit a minor act of terrorism against the United States, Guy is determined to assassinate Punxsutawney Phil, that magical prognosticating groundhog, on live television before he is able to predict the weather. American politics are absurd and at times quite ludicrous: From elections to scandals, the U.S. has a rich history of almost laughable civic moments. “How to Kill a Rodent” celebrates the oddities and humor in America and its history while also taking a deeper look at the issues that plague the “greatest country in the world.”
