Michael is very excited to join the team at Next Stage Press with Glen Kato premiering the non-musical version of POLLYANNA.
Kudos to Coni Koepfinger for reviving the “Glad Game” and its charming players in her new stage version of Eleanor Porter’s 1913 novel. This sprawling tale captures the essence of life and the broad spectrum of humanity that lives it. Pollyanna, the 11-year-old orphan, possesses a spirit to be treasured as we discover through this comedy that being Sad cannot withstand the joy of being Glad!
A major adjustment to my previous review. It should read: “Kudos to Coni Koepfinger and Michael Perry for reviving the “Glad Game . . .”
I apologize for my error.
Review Pollyanna!.
