WHEN JESUS DIVORCED ME tells the story of LAURA the divorcee as she navigates the entanglement of theater, mental health, and religion over the ten years after her divorce. A play with music, this show explores that getting over divorce takes awhile.

About the Playwright
LAURA IRENE YOUNG is a multi-disciplinary theatre artist based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received her BFA in Musical Theater from Youngstown State University. She received her MFA in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Arts and Design. She is an playwright, director, actor, and educator. She is a member of Actor’s Equity Association.
