A gorgeous slice-of-life drama that pulls no punches. Heartbreaking yet full of love.
Wounded is an incredibly raw and honest show that immerses the audience in caring for those that come back from war with deep scars, both physical and mental. Wounded does not tiptoe around this subject or the struggles and tough choices loved ones of wounded warriors must make. For me, I have always had appreciation for the sacrifices that wounded warriors make, but having not cared for one myself, the intimate venue paired with Wounded’s unrelenting exploration of the sacrifices everyone must make for those we care about made for a refreshingly honest and rewarding show.
